Past Events

May and June 2023 Events:

Meetings were held informally on May 3, May 31. Many of us attended the June 8 zoning meeting at Kendall Village that was at that time rescheduled for September 13, 2023. If you would like to read more about previous May events and the concerns about zoning changes in our neighborhood, click below to download BHNA May 2023 Announcements. The application for a Zoning change was submitted to the County for rezoning an approximately 5 Acre estate at 5979 SW 56 Street to higher density. The County's Recommendation Summary and conditions for approval show that the application for rezoning is approved and the applicant accepts the County’s conditions for approval, the County will open 60th Place to northbound traffic from Miller. We concerned neighbors of Biltmore Heights oppose this change and are actively organizing to preserve our neighborhood.
